Temperatures are rising significantly this week – so high that the RIVM has activated the national heat plan. At Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch, we are also taking our responsibility. That is why our heat protocol is coming into effect.

The boat trip on the Binnendieze has secured fourth place in the Top 10 of North Brabant at the DagjeWeg.NL Awards 2026. According to visitors, this makes the boat trip one of the most highly-rated outings in the province.

Six new city guides received their diplomas in the courtyard of Museum Kruithuis. After intensive training, they are ready to take visitors through the streets of ‘s-Hertogenbosch and bring the city’s stories to life.

Due to the expected heat of approximately 34 degrees, various activities in ’s-Hertogenbosch have been canceled in accordance with the heat protocol. This applies to city walks, guided tours, the Salon Boat, the Kruithuis Boat Route, and the Hertogstad Boat Trip. Visitors with a reservation will receive a personal message.

On May 6, a film crew from the television program Vroege Vogels visited ’s-Hertogenbosch to film on the Binnendieze.
