Historic boat tour on the Binnendieze

Beneath the city in a whisper boat

From April 1 to October 31, you can discover ‘s-Hertogenbosch in a unique way: in a whisper boat on the Binnendieze. These historic waterways run right through and under the city. During the trip, a skipper-guide from Kring Vrienden van ‘s-Hertogenbosch tells a great story about medieval trade, the siege of 1629, and the nickname ‘the swamp dragon’.

The Binnendieze almost disappeared, but thanks to restorations, this hidden city gem has been preserved. You sail under centuries-old buildings, past fortification walls and nature, and experience the silence in the middle of the bustling city. The Historic route is extremely popular and books up quickly on weekends. Fortunately, there are also wonderful alternative routes; click the links below for more information!

For a good story, book a Day in Den Bosch. Reserve your boat trip now and experience the city from the water!
