Kruithuis Boat Tour

Sail to Museum Kruithuis – a journey through history

Discover the Kruithuis Boat Trip at Kring Vrienden van ‘s-Hertogenbosch from April 1 to October 31. During this 45-minute trip on the Dommel, a skipper-guide tells a great story about trade, fortifications, and the growth of the city. You will pass the Citadel, old city walls, and the Vughtereiland with its ecological fish ladder.

Upon arrival at Museum Kruithuis, you’ll disembark and can explore the museum at your own pace. Here, you’ll dive into the history of the Eighty Years’ War through tangible events and personal stories. Museum tickets are not included.

Complete your day out in Den Bosch with a visit to Grand Café 1629. Enjoy coffee with ‘kruitkoek’ (spice cake) or a Kruithuis lunch (not included). Book your boat trip to Museum Kruithuis now!
