Booking

You can book tickets via DagjeDenBosch.com/activiteiten. You then pay immediately via iDeal or credit card. All tickets include transaction costs. Is the group larger than 20 people? Please contact the Booking Office at 073 – 613 50 98.

After payment, you will receive a confirmation by email with the tickets as a PDF attachment. Did you place a booking via the booking office at least three weeks in advance? Then you will receive an invoice that you must pay at least 14 days before the booking date. The booking is only final once we have received the payment. If the payment is not received on time, we will cancel the booking.

All activities in the center of ’s-Hertogenbosch are within walking distance of the central station. You can plan your journey via www.ov9292.nl.

Are you visiting ’s-Hertogenbosch and want to get around easily? Then hop on De Blauwe Engelen – the free electric city shuttles from the Stichting Gastvrij ’s-Hertogenbosch. They run a fixed route through the center from April 1 to November 1, starting from the station. Especially for visitors, with a smile and a touch of city history. Our activities take place in the center of ’s-Hertogenbosch. The departure point is clearly stated on DagjeDenBosch.com and in the confirmation email. Please pay close attention to this, because if you arrive late or are at the wrong location, you are not entitled to a refund.

The boating season is from April 1 to October 31. This applies to all boat tours on the Binnendieze: Historical route, Fortification route, Jeroen Bosch Boat Route, Trade route, Duke City Boat Route, and the Wedding Boat. The Salon Boat, Frederik Hendrik, does sail all year round. Check the Salon Boat page for days and times.

We have three park-and-ride (transferium) locations in ’s-Hertogenbosch where you can park for a fixed fee and travel to the center by bus for free with up to four people using your parking ticket. The center has eight parking garages. For more information, visit www.s-hertogenbosch.nl/parkeren.

Due to the variety of activities, we have multiple locations and departure points. The location and/or departure point is stated on all pages of the activities we offer. This location is also mentioned in your ticket confirmation. Keep a close eye on this. If you are at the wrong location, you are not entitled to a refund for the missed activity.

The departure point is clearly described for each boating activity. Pay close attention, because if you are at the wrong departure point, there is a good chance that the boat has already left from the other departure point. You will then not be entitled to a refund.

Two boats depart for each sailing, with a capacity of 14 people per boat (3 boats in high season). For the Fortification Boat Route, a limit of ten people per boat applies. Depending on the composition of other visitors/groups, your group may be divided across the boats.

Cancellation

You can only change the number of participants up to three weeks in advance for group bookings. You can do this by booking the desired number of extra tickets yourself on DagjeDenBosch.com, subject to availability. Has the number of people decreased? Then call the Booking Office at 073 – 613 50 98. They can update the booking and refund the cancelled tickets, excluding the booking fees.

Only for group bookings can you cancel the booking free of charge up to three weeks before the date your activity takes place. After these three weeks, the booking is fixed and you will no longer receive a refund.

We do not cancel bookings based on weather forecasts. We continue to sail and walk even in bad weather; we will provide you with a rain poncho.

If your package deal is unexpectedly cancelled by Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch, you are entitled to a refund of the total amount, excluding the booking fees. This can happen, for example, if the guided tour of St. John’s Cathedral cannot take place due to a funeral. Or if the skipper finds the weather too bad and unsafe for guests and cancels the boat tour.

Weather forecasts and weather conditions are not a reason for cancellation. When sailing on the Binnendieze, you sail under the city for the most part and you will be given a rain poncho if it rains.

Boat tours operate on a tight sailing schedule. You must be present 10 minutes before departure. If you cannot make it due to circumstances, it is best to report to the departure point. It may still be possible to rebook the tickets to a later time. This is entirely dependent on availability. If that is not possible, your tickets will expire.

For city walks and guided tours of special sites, if other guests are joining and they are on time, the guide will start at the scheduled time. Your reserved tickets will expire as a result.

In principle, tickets already paid for are not taken back. If you contact us well before the booking date, we can see what we can do for you, depending on availability. Booking Office via 073 – 613 50 98.

Groups

You will receive the booking confirmation and the tickets in PDF via email. This is also your proof of payment.

All mentioned prices include VAT.

There are no additional costs. All ticket prices include transaction costs and VAT. If you want to rebook tickets, we will charge transaction costs again. Currently, this is €1.00 per ticket.

Group rates apply for city walks and guided tours of special sites. These rates apply to groups of up to 15 people. If you want to sail with more than 20 people, please contact the booking office at 073 – 613 50 98.

During the package deal, the relevant guide is your first point of contact. If you have questions along the way, you can call the desk clerk during Kringhuis opening hours. See contact details.

If you have booked a day package including coffee/tea with a Bossche Bol, lunch, high tea, or a snack platter, these are included. You can find which refreshments are included in the package in the description.

You can still change the number of people up to three weeks before the start of the package deal. To be sure of available tickets for the activities, book for the maximum number of people.

Payment

If you book tickets via DagjeDenBosch.com, you pay immediately via iDeal. This is the only way to have the tickets sent to you and for the booking to be final. The same applies to buying tickets at the counter. If you make a booking via the Booking Office, this can be done up to one day in advance via direct debit. For package deals, you will receive an invoice. This must be paid 14 days before the activity, otherwise the package will be cancelled.

No, you can only pay by card at our service points. We do not have cash.

No, we do not accept third-party gift vouchers as a means of payment for the booking.

Other

City walks and the guided tour of St. John’s Cathedral are suitable and accessible for wheelchairs. Unfortunately, many of our activities are not accessible for wheelchairs. The boarding point for the boat tour in Molenstraat does have a stairlift, but you must still be able to step into the boat yourself.

No dogs or other pets are allowed on the boat. We naturally make an exception for assistance dogs only.

Every person participating in an activity of Kring Vrienden van ‘s-Hertogenbosch needs an entry ticket. Even if you or your companion are working as a professional caregiver. We make no distinction. If you are or have a companion, that always counts as an extra person for the activity. Therefore, always book the number of tickets for the total number of people participating in the activity.

During the regular daytime sailing schedule, you can book and pay for all fourteen tickets for a boat. However, if you come with fewer people, the skipper reserves the right to fill the boat at departure with guests waiting on the shore, regardless of whether you have booked these tickets. You will then not be entitled to a refund.

We only reserve private boats at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. You book these per boat for a fixed price regardless of the number, up to a maximum of 14 people per boat. Please contact the Booking Office at 073 – 613 50 98 for this.

If you place a booking for a full boat (14 people) or a group walk (15 people), we can request a German, English, or French-speaking guide. Provided one is available on the date of your activity, he or she will be scheduled. If you come with fewer people, the historical route (boat tour on the Binnendieze) is written out in a handout available at the Kringhuis desk on the Parade. Or at the Molenstraat boarding point.

By order of the municipality, eating and drinking is not allowed on the Binnendieze. Self-brought goods may therefore not be consumed on the water/in the whisper boat. No self-brought goods may be consumed in the Salon Boat either. For package deals, you can contact the booking office at 073 – 613 50 98.
