Heat protocol

Heat protocol extended by one day: also June 27

Temperatures continue to rise – so high that the RIVM has activated the national heat plan. At Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch, we are also taking our responsibility. That is why our heat protocol is coming into effect.

The KNMI has even issued a code red for extreme heat today. The weather warning applies to almost all provinces in the Netherlands. Read more about code red here.

All city walks, tower climbs, guided tours, and boat trips are cancelled on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27. Additionally, Museum Kruithuis and Huis van Bosch are closed to museum visitors on these days (*).

With these tropical temperatures, it is simply not responsible to organize outdoor activities or trips in hot boats. The safety of our guests and volunteers always comes first.

Guests with a reservation will be informed personally. Where possible, we will move the activity to a cooler day or refund the total amount.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
We will most likely be able to welcome you again on Sunday, June 28 in a slightly cooler ’s-Hertogenbosch.
