Parade launch

The new DagjeDenBosch.com officially launched at the Parade

With a single press of a large emergency button, the renewed DagjeDenBosch.com website was officially launched at the Parade. Employees and volunteers of Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch celebrated this important step for both visitors and the organization together.

DagjeDenBosch.com is the platform where visitors can find and book the Circle’s activities. From boat trips on the Binnendieze and the Dommel to city walks, guided tours, and a visit to Museum Kruithuis: the website helps visitors easily plan their day in ’s-Hertogenbosch.
Professionalization
The renewed website doesn’t just have a fresh look; the underlying booking system has also been updated. Visitors can find, combine, and book activities more easily. New features include the shopping cart, which allows multiple activities to be booked at once. The mobile experience has also been improved, helping visitors find their way faster via phone or tablet.
Innovation

The launch is part of a broader wave of renewal within the Circle. In addition to the website and the booking system, the service points have also been updated. These have been transformed into more than just a place to sell tickets. They are becoming welcoming information points for visitors to the city, where people can go for tickets, questions, and inspiration for their day in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

According to Nicolette Kroezen, chair of Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch, the launch is an important step. “We are very happy with the steps we are taking. It’s not just about the website, but also about the booking system and the renewed service points. It’s a major undertaking and a large project. The website is up and running, and we’re noticing that the booking system is becoming more intuitive and is increasingly meeting our needs.”

For the Circle, this renewal is an important step in making the city’s cultural-historical heritage accessible. For over fifty years, the association has been dedicated to preserving and passing on the stories of ’s-Hertogenbosch. This is made possible by the efforts of over two thousand members and hundreds of volunteers. They serve as skipper-guides on the Binnendieze and the Dommel, lead city walks, and provide guided tours of special locations in the city.

The launch also takes place in a special year. In 2026, boat trips on the Binnendieze will celebrate their fortieth anniversary. An anniversary that shows how important these tours have become for the city, its visitors, and the many volunteers who make this special activity possible.
Treat
A festive moment at the Parade naturally called for a local treat from Den Bosch. Ad van Gessel from Online Identity & Solutions BV arranged various ‘bollen’ for staff and volunteers: Bossche Bollen from Jan de Groot, Oetelbollen from Bakkerij van Leeuwen, and white Chocolate Bolicious and Pistachio Bolicious from Pilkingtons Bakery. In this way, the launch of the new website was celebrated in style.
